Pamphlet Distribution
Pamphlet Distribution
At the Equity & Health Literacy Project (EHLP), we believe health information should be easy to understand, easy to find, and available in the languages people actually speak. That's why we distribute free, multilingual health education pamphlets throughout key community hubs—including local libraries, community centres, newcomer agencies, and youth spaces.
Our pamphlets are designed at a Grade 6–8 reading level and available in multiple languages such as English, Farsi, Arabic, Spanish, and Mandarin digitally. Each pamphlet features culturally relevant visuals, plain-language explanations, and QR codes that link directly to digital tools like videos, anonymous surveys, and mobile-friendly resource hubs.
Topics covered include:
- How to navigate walk-in clinics and hospitals
- Accessing OHIP and mental health services
- Sexual health and STI prevention
- Harm reduction and substance use
- Vaccinations and public health alerts
We restock locations regularly and adjust our distribution based on feedback and community demand. This helps us meet people where they are—both physically and linguistically.
